ENOSTA & Australian Consul-General: A Discussion about Da Nang’s Bright Future

ENOSTA is honored to have hosted Ms. Sarah Hooper, the Australian Consul General, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich, the Economic & Government Affairs Officer, to visit Da Nang. This meeting marks another significant step in our ongoing efforts to promote collaboration and innovation between Australia and Vietnam, with a special focus on Da Nang.

Da Nang: A Rising Innovation Ecosystem

Throughout the meeting, we discussed a lot about the potential and development opportunities of Da Nang. The city is rapidly transforming into a hub of innovation and investment. Its dynamic economic landscape, growing tech sector, and welcoming environment for startups make it an attractive destination for global investors.

The city offers diverse opportunities across multiple sectors, including high-tech industries and promising service areas, from thriving hi-tech industries to promising service sectors.

Strategically located, Da Nang boasts supportive government policies and a growing pool of talent. This environment positions the city as a gateway for investors eager to tap into the Southeast Asian market. Recently, Da Nang made its debut in the 2024 Global Startup Ecosystem Index, securing an impressive 896th place globally. Within Vietnam, Da Nang ranks 3rd among cities, showcasing its strong entrepreneurial foundation. Regionally, it ranks 22nd in Southeast Asia, signaling its growing prominence as a startup hub.

Although it remains relatively unknown to many international investors, Da Nang’s increasing recognition reflects its potential to become a global center for innovation and entrepreneurship.

ENOSTA GROUP’s Commitment to Innovation and Talent

For nearly 15 years of startup and 4 years serving as AusCham’s representative in Da Nang, our CEO, Ms. Trang Hanh Tran, in particular, and ENOSTA Group in general, has been a pivotal bridge connecting Da Nang and Australia. We have actively fostered connections in business, government, education, and cultural exchange which align with Ms. Hooper’s vision.

At ENOSTA, we are passionate about talent development. Over the years, we’ve welcomed exchange interns from Australia, giving them the opportunity to not only learn about our company’s operations but also to develop their expertise and explore Vietnamese culture.

At the same time, we always pay attention to talent development and promote international cooperation. As the demand for IT and innovation continues to rise, ENOSTA is committed to enhancing the skills of both our team and our partners to meet Australia’s evolving needs.

This meeting with Ms. Sarah Hooper was a valuable opportunity to further strengthen our partnership with Australia, and we are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. As we continue on this journey, ENOSTA remains deeply committed to promoting innovation, enhancing talent, and driving collaboration between Vietnam and Australia.

Looking Ahead: Building a Brighter Future Together

We are excited about the future and look forward to creating more opportunities to connect and collaborate, especially in IT, innovation, and other fields.

Later that day, we participated in the AusCham networking dinner, where we connected with other members and explored additional opportunities for collaboration. These engagements reaffirm our belief in the power of partnership to create meaningful change and opportunity for both Da Nang and Australia.

We sincerely thank the Australian Consultate-General in Vietnam and all our partners for their invaluable support. Hopefully, these new connections will open up exciting cooperation opportunities. Together, let’s build a brighter future for Da Nang and Australia!
